Toddlers
Watching a two-year-old can be fun and exhausting. Children in this age group are filled with energy and curiosity about the world and a new sense of increasing independence.
Children are busy exploring their environment and learning to communicate their thoughts. While they begin to expert their independence, they are also gaining a better understanding of group.
At ABC Learning Center your child will build skills and confidence through games, songs, movement and art, as our school’s experienced teachers provide an outlet for creative expression.
By encouraging child-directed play, we ensure that your child develops at his or her own pace. Sharing, cooperating and taking turns teaches your child the importance of being a team player.
The Creative Curriculum at ABC Learning Center emphasizes the development of the whole child, by focusing on both education fundamentals and social skills.
Our caring teachers keep small hands busy and young minds engaged through activities designed specifically for this age group.

The long-term goal of our Early Preschool Program is to prepare your child as he/she begins the journey that will eventually lead her into kindergarten and beyond as a successful lifelong learner. In the short term, our early preschool teachers focus on preparing your child for the next level at ABC Learning Center, which is our VPK Program. Throughout the two-year preschool curriculum, which encompasses Early Preschool and VPK, your child will acquire a full breadth of developmental skills necessary to successfully enter kindergarten eager and ready to learn.
In order to learn, a young child needs to feel cared for and secure with a teacher or caregiver. A 3-year-old child is able to spend time away from parents and build trusting relationships with adults outside the family. High-quality preschool programs nurture warm relationships among children, teachers and parents. And teachers build a close personal connection with each child in their care.
A preschoolers world opens up in new ways as children improve coordination, learn complex games, and begin to interact more with others. Children learn by doing, and at ABC Learning Center, your preschooler will strengthen his or her cognitive skills with plenty of hands-on activities.

Next stop, kindergarten! But first, we want to introduce and familiarize your child with the types of schedules and routines he'll find when he/she gets there.
Our Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Curriculum is a hands-on, minds-on curriculum that is based on scientific research. Aligned with key Pre-K learning goals, it provides children with the foundational skills they need to succeed as lifelong learners.
Preschool provides a foundation for learning both socially and academically that will help your child succeed in elementary school.
Every day your child is learning and doing more. Our caring, experienced teacher are dedicated to providing a rich, nurturing environment that will prepare your child for kindergarten. We promote independence in an organized atmosphere, as it is increasingly
important for children to be their own thinkers. We also teach children to work well within a group through listening, sharing and cooperation.
As kindergarten becomes more academic, many parents look to preschool to launch their child on the path to success in school. At the same time, parents may worry that the current trend to focus on pre-math and pre-literacy skills in preschool cuts into important play time and pushes a child to grow up too fast. It's a confusing issue, especially with friends and family offering different opinions and advice.
Fortunately, in selecting our preschool, parents aren't forced to choose between protecting a child's play time and making sure she's ready for kindergarten. Our high-quality early childhood education program will offer children both.
